A: The website migration service that we are offering is free of cost (to a certain extent). We will move your site(s) to our top–of–the–line cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from personal experience that changing web hosting providers can lead to lost data and unwanted downtime. For this reason, we’ll perform all that for you for free!We’ve got capable administrators whose sole responsibility is to make sure that your site functions precisely as it did on your previous web hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in transferring custom–made websites, as well as websites that are based upon popular web apps like WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: There are lots of aspects to consider – the overall number of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration experts, etc. Having said that, we do try to implement all website migrations within a 48–hour time window. Smaller–sized websites are migrated much faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We don’t collect any personal information. We’ll need, though, the login information for your present web hosting account as well as the name of the website that you wish to transfer.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share precisely the same information you have provided to your current hosting provider. We also have a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive info is dealt with.

A: While we transfer your site, it will be available both in your hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. Once the transfer is complete, we’ll ensure that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your web content is not affected prior to telling you that the migration is completed. After that, we’ll tell you how to move the domain to your hosting account with us and how to update your DNS records.

A: Nope. Apart from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we will not need anything. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: We support all Linux–driven web hosting platforms. In essence, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source web site management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
